Are Victory Motorcycles reliable and has anybody had any real issues with them?

I am looking to buy a cruiser and I have been riding a Harley for years now. I am tired of it always being in the shop. I drove by friends Victory a couple of times and it rides and handles a lot better than the Harley. He personally hasn't had any problems with his and has owned it the same amount of time I have owned my Harley. So I was wondering if anybody else has had any major problems with their Victory?
