80 ci harley Davidson Evo motor.?

This motor does not have eceltronic ign. Has points and condensor for ignition. Kick start. After sitting a few months I started it and the headlight would pulse with the rpms. Cn't remember if it got brighter or dimmer with more throttle. Might have gotten brighter with more throttle and still pulsed with rpms either way.
